ResKids is our ministry for 3 year olds - 5th graders! Our prayer is that kids will know they are beloved children of God, bought by the Son of God, and belong to the family of God so that they may grow in loving God, loving the Family, and welcoming others in. Transformed by the gospel, we desire for our ResKids to experience a shared, internalized, and applied faith.
Children's Worship: Children's worship takes place during the sermon portion of the service and lasts for about 30 minutes. During the service, there will be a time of welcoming one another. At that time, it will be announced that kids can go to their classrooms and line up outside the door. Signs will be placed outside each room, and classes are broken up by age: 3yrs-PreK, K-1st grade, 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade. Our volunteers are members of Restoration and have completed a background check, abuse-awareness training, and a references checklist. At the close of the sermon, children will be brought back into the service for communion. Additionally, we ask all new parents to fill out a registration form for attendance and safety purposes.
Sunday School: Children's Sunday School during ACE classes will meet in the main building at 9am. The classes are 3 yr - PreK, K - 2nd grade, 3rd-5th grade.Sunday School offers an opportunity for children to go deeper: growing in biblical literacy, practicing prayer, and memorizing scripture.
