Through this ministry, we believe our ResKids will experience Jesus, know Jesus, and love Jesus in such a way that transforms their lives, and gives them knowledge and language to continue growing in and living out their faith. Transformed by the gospel, ResKids exists to cultivate our kids' relationship with Jesus alongside gospel community, grow in godly character, learn God's Story, and love their neighbor. The primary avenues for this to take place are Children's Worship on Sunday mornings and special events throughout the year, such as fun liturgical activities after church or fellowship experiences like Movie Night, Mini Golf, and Summer Art camp.
Children's Worship details: If you're new and interested in sending your kids to children's worship, we'd love to have them join us! Children's worship takes place during the sermon portion of the service, and lasts for about 30 minutes. During the service, there will be a time of welcoming one another. At that time, it will be announced that kids can go to the foyer of the church to line up. Signs will be placed in the foyer, and classes are broken up by the ages of 3yr-PreK, K-2nd grade, and 3rd-5th grade. During this time, two adult members, and sometimes a third youth volunteer, will be in the classroom teaching and discipling the kids. Volunteers are members of Restoration, and have completed a background check, abuse training, and references checklist. At the close of the sermon, children will be brought back into the service to be a part of communion. Additionally, we ask all new parents to fill out a registration form for attendance and safety purposes.
