Born and raised overseas in Hong Kong, Joel moved to Los Angeles when he was 19 to major in music performance and pursue a career in music. After 10 years of working in a variety of jobs in music, including serving on the worship staff of a church, Joel moved to Saint Louis in 2022 to be closer to family and for a general change of pace. Joel is passionate about cultivating worship experiences that glorify God and leads the Church in genuine worship of our Creator and Good Father. Joel is grateful to have the opportunity to bring his experience to serve in this role at Restoration.
